The Signs of Spring Bicycle Tour explores the emerging spring flora and fauna of the Wayne National Forest along 13.8 miles of the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway guided by local naturalist, Lynn Holtzman. The tour will be a non-competitive event where you can explore the scenery and learn about spring phenology (birds, blooms, buds, and more!) along the way. It is a leisurely paved trail route, with 190 feet elevation gain at 2.3% maximum grade. The tour will begin and end at the Hocking College Nature Center parking lot. Come celebrate and connect with the new season by cycling through the hills of Southeast Ohio with Appalachian Understories!
