Your HHTA membership connects your business with visitors, marketing opportunities, industry resources and the Hocking Hills tourism community. Here is a quick look at the benefits available to members.
PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS
Brochure Distribution Display your brochure at the Hocking Hills Regional Welcome Center and Laurelville Visitor Center, where nearly 50,000 visitors receive information services each year. | Hocking Hills Visitors Guide Be listed in the annual guide, with 250,000 copies distributed. The guide includes member contact information, and only HHTA members are promoted. |
Website Listing & Link Receive a listing on explorehockinghills.com with your business description, phone number and website link. | Referral System When visitors contact HHTA by phone, email, website or in person, staff and volunteers make best efforts to refer them to HHTA member businesses. |
Calendar of Events Submit eligible events for promotion through HHTA’s website, Travel Talk radio show and other marketing channels. | Member Identification Receive a member window logo and access to the HHTA logo for use in your promotional materials. |
2026–2027 MARKETING OPPORTUNITIES
· Digital Advertising Match — 50% match on eligible digital advertising expenses, up to $1,000 per member. Receipts are due by January 15, 2027.
· Professional Video/Photography Match — 50% match, up to $1,000, for professional promotional video or photography. HHTA retains the right to use b-roll video content. Receipts are due by January 15, 2027.
· Travel Talk — Participate in Explore Hocking Hills’ radio show at no cost. Your segment airs three times a day for one week.
· 2027 Visitors Guide Advertising Match — $500 for members located in Hocking County or $250 for non-Hocking County members. Limited to one discount per primary membership.
· Additional Opportunities — New marketing opportunities may be introduced throughout the year as they are finalized.
CONNECT, LEARN & GROW
Business Leads Access permissioned visitor leads in the Members Only section of the website when visitors have agreed to share their mailing information. | Monthly Newsletter Stay current on tourism news, member opportunities and area updates. Members may also submit news for consideration. |
Educational Sessions Join monthly webinars with practical, actionable topics designed to strengthen marketing knowledge and support business growth. | Industry Education & Networking Attend educational sessions offered in partnership with the Hocking Hills Lodging Owners Association several times each year. |
Organizational Involvement Attend the Annual General Conference each April and get involved in HHTA committees and decision-making opportunities. | Member Discount Program Offer discounts to fellow HHTA members and view available member-to-member discounts in the Members Only section online. |
PARTICIPATE IN HHTA PROGRAMS
· HHTA Events & Promotions — Opportunities may include the Comfort Food Cruise, Holiday Treasure Hunt and other promotional efforts.
· Gallery on Main — Local artists and crafts people may have opportunities to sell original artwork and products.
· Office Assistance — Members may use the HHTA office black-and-white copy machine at low rates. Membership mailing addresses are also available in an Excel spreadsheet.
SPECIAL BENEFITS BY MEMBERSHIP TYPE
Dining Members Display restaurant menus on the Welcome Center menu board, where volunteers can direct hungry visitors. Dining members may also participate in the annual Comfort Food Cruise. | Retail & Artist Members Reserve Welcome Center display shelving for a two-week period, based on availability. Retail members may also participate in the annual Holiday Treasure Hunt. |
