Ohio State Old Time Fiddlers Contest

The Ohio State Old Time Fiddlers Contest is held every year in August during the Parade of the Hills in Nelsonville, OH. The longstanding competition was originally held each summer at the Ohio State Fair in Columbus, but was later moved to beautiful southeastern Ohio. If you would like to compete in the contest, you can register online by going to the Parade of the Hills website. You can also choose to register on the day of the contest at Stuart’s Opera House beginning at 4 pm. Fiddlers can compete in four age groups: 12 and under, 13-18, 19-54, and 55+.
