Lancaster BrewFest Brew Week
– Lancaster BrewFest, named one of Columbus Navigator’s Best Summer Festivals in Central Ohio,
returns August 17. From August 9-16, Lancaster’s second annual Brew Week will feature many unique events all
over Lancaster and Fairfield County with a lineup of 30 breweries, two live music acts and three food trucks for the
grand finale on August 17 in Downtown Lancaster.
Tickets go on sale Monday, July 1 and are subject to sell out. Tickets are available both online at
lancasterbrewfest.com and at the following locations: AmeriStop in Lancaster, Double Edge Brewing Company,
Outerbelt Brewing and Destination Downtown Lancaster.
“BrewFest prides itself on bringing the community to Downtown Lancaster to enjoy the large selection of craft
beers from all across Ohio,” said Aaron Uhl, founder and director of Lancaster BrewFest. “We are so lucky to have
a team of passionate and dedicated people to help make this event possible. We’ve grown throughout the years
and we are excited to bring some new and exciting events people have not experienced here before.”
This year’s newest addition is in the form of a passport, which participants will have stamped at selected
businesses and breweries. Once the passport is filled, attendees are eligible to receive a free BrewFest t-shirt along
with their name put in a raffle drawing for more than $200 worth of prizes.
Lancaster BrewFest aims to provide a unique experience that is both fun and educational for attendees. The event
is an opportunity for craft beer enthusiasts to interact with representatives from each brewery involved and dive
deeper into the brewing process. Brewery representatives will be available to answer questions about the brewing
process, beer taste, or any other topic of interest.
Lancaster Brew Week kicks off with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. on August 9 at Double Edge Brewing
Company. Other activities include Pars and Pints: Foot Golf Tournament, a Beer Mile in Downtown Lancaster, Pups
and Pints with adoptable dogs, Ladies Night, tap takeovers, beer and food pairing, live music and more.
Throughout Brew Week, attendees can enjoy food from SmokeOut BBQ, Sophie’s Pierogies, Pizza Cottage,
Taquitos Truck, Mai Chau and Comida El Catrin. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
