Shamrock Irish Pub

Ellinger Farm Indoor Riding Area

Ellinger's  Farm has a 60' x 100' indoor riding area and a petting zoo. This is a great place to hold kids birthday parties complete with a mini horse. By appointment only.

This family-owned winery 10 minutes from Laurelville, Hocking Hills features a tasting room with hand-crafted award-winning grape and fruit wines and ciders. The tasting room offers a cheese plate and a Mediterranean platter, and is available for private parties for up to 35 people, with an in-house catering menu available.

Stuart’s Opera House is the cornerstone of the Nelsonville Historic Art District, originally open from 1879 to 1924. Re-opening in 1997, Stuart’s Opera House hosts over 75 events a year including live music, theater, film, dance, visual art, and educational programming for area students. Stuart’s is home to local, regional, national and internationally acclaimed performances along with community events and more, and is Southeastern Ohio’s favorite place to experience live performance.

The Columbus Washboard Factory, located in downtown Logan, Ohio, is the only remaining washboard manufacturer in the U.S.A. The factory uses many of the original presses and machinery to make  washboards. See an American manufacturing factory in action on one of the guided tours. Hocking Hills Winery is a family owned and operated winery, located in the heart of the Hocking Hills. They create quality wines from local grapes as well as grapes and juice from around the world. Pencil Sharpener Museum

Stop by the Hocking Hills Regional Welcome Center and visit one of the more unique museums you will see, the Paul A. Johnson Pencil Sharpener Museum. Reverend Paul Johnson began his collection more than 20 years ago. This amazing collection of more than 3,400 pencil sharpeners has been featured in national magazines and is reputed to be the largest collection in America.

Decorative Arts Center of Ohio

The Decorative Arts Center of Ohio is located in Lancaster, just Southeast of Columbus. It is a not-for-profit museum whose mission is to foster knowledge and appreciation of the decorative arts; celebrate the architecture and heritage of the Reese-Peters House; and enhance the vitality and integrity of historic Lancaster. Sherman House & Georgian Museums

The Sherman House, 137 E. Main St., is the birthplace of Civil War Gen. William Tecumseh Sherman and U.S. Sen. John Sherman. The home contains many family treasures and an extensive Civil War exhibit. The Georgian Museum, 105 E. Wheeling St., is a mansion built for entrepreneur Samuel & Sarah Maccracken in the early 1830s. It is an antique lover’s delight, with many fine 19th century pieces made by Fairfield County artisans. Buy a combo ticket for both museums and save!

Hocking County Historical Society & Museum

Experience the historical complex featuring the Native American presence in Hocking County, the Lutz Steam Car, 1881 furnished Victorian home, military display, antique farm implements and the railway telegraph office. Family fun that’s entertaining and educational! Volunteer-operated historic train rides Memorial Day weekend through October at Noon and 2:30 on Saturdays and Sundays. Special event trains include: Easter Bunny Train, Train Robbery, Caboose-only, Fall Foliage, Santa Trains and New Year’s Eve Train. An association of artists and craftsmen living in the Hocking Hills area who take pride in handcrafted items for any occasion. The biggest event is an annual Fall Arts & Crafts show on the last full weekend in September.

Rockside has four-and-a-half acres of grapes mostly French hybrid and American vines surrounding the winery and tasting room. All wines are made on premises using mostly estate grown grapes.
