Stuart’s Opera House
Stuart’s Opera House is the cornerstone of the Nelsonville Historic Art District, originally open from 1879 to 1924. Re-opening in 1997, Stuart’s Opera House hosts over 75 events a year including live music, theater, film, dance, visual art, and educational programming for area students. Stuart’s is home to local, regional, national and internationally acclaimed performances along with community events and more, and is Southeastern Ohio’s favorite place to experience live performance.
