Medieval Village at Ravenwood Castle

The Medieval Village has nine unique stand alone cottages such as The Clock Tower, Cinderella's Coach House, and the Silversmith's House... just to name a few! All Medieval Village accommodations have a kitchenette complete with coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, and basic flatware. Some of the cottages have jacuzzi tubs - please refer to our website for details about each room. In the valley at the base of the Castle hill just a short hike from the Medieval Village there is another one of our favorite places at Ravenwood: The Huntsman’s Hollow Cabins. The Fisher’s, Fletcher’s, Forester’s, Tanner’s, and Trapper’s cabins are situated around a private firepit circle complete with five swinging benches. This provides a perfect space for enjoying good conversation and a cold beer or making smores with the family after hiking and gaming all day. Each cabin features a screened-in porch that can be used as a game space if it happens to rain during your visit. While the cabins themselves are similar on the outside, each boast personalized touches in their interior design. Inside, you’ll find a full-size kitchenette equipped with flatware, drinkware, a microwave, sink, toaster, and small refrigerator. A master bedroom features a queen bed, the common room is furnished with a double futon, and the cabin is rounded out with a private bathroom with shower. Up a short ladder you’ll find an unfurnished loft that can be used for games, or with the help of a few sleeping bags, a fun night for the kids!
