Meet the legendary Owl Capone at the Tecumseh Theater at this FREE owling event! Whooo’s ready for an evening of owls and wildlife education? Join us at Tecumseh Theater for a special, FREE event featuring Owl Capone, a resident barred owl and educational ambassador from Hocking Hills State Park! Owl Capone was unable to return to the wild after being hit by a car. Today, he lives at the park’s raptor sanctuary behind the Visitor Center at Old Man’s Cave, where he helps educate visitors about owls and other birds of prey. A naturalist from Hocking Hills State Park will be on hand to share fascinating facts about owls and other raptors that call Ohio home, answer your questions and help you learn more about these incredible birds. You’ll also have the opportunity to snap a picture with Owl Capone and make a memorable connection with one of Ohio’s feathered ambassadors. Bring your friends and family for an educational evening celebrating Ohio’s wildlife. Longtime bird enthusiasts or anyone curious about these amazing animals are welcome! Friday, Nov. 20 | 6 to 8 p.m. | 116 W. Main St., Shawnee, Ohio FREE EVENT — ALL AGES WELCOME! Stay tuned for registration details! We can’t wait to see you there!
