Herbal Medicine Making Workshop

OWR Seed Grant recipient and community herbalist Cindy Parker will be hosting "Herbal Medicine Making," a workshop that will be held on Saturday, July 25th, from 10 am until 3 pm in Athens. Participants will make tincture, salve, and liniment as well as identifying and discussing various plants that may be used for medicine. The focus is on plants that thrive locally throughout the growing season.

Wear suitable clothing, comfortable walking shoes and raincoat if necessary. Bring a sack lunch and your own water bottle. Herbal iced tea provided. Class is limited to 6 registered participants for social distancing that loves thy neighbor. Masks are required inside classroom but the most time will be spent outside in the fresh air. Respect others by maintaining a 6’ distance. Thank you for your cooperation to make such learning experiences possible during these times.
