Weekend Things to Do in the Hocking Hills - September 28-29
Fall is officially here! While the leaves haven't quite changed yet, things are already starting to feel a little more magical in the Hocking Hills.
You've got to get here to do one of these fun things to do:
Look for Bigfoot
The Hocking Hills Bigfoot Conference is this weekend! It's a great chance to share your love of all things Sasquatch while helping children less fortunate experience the great outdoors.
Have Halloween Fun
October is almost here and that means it's time to celebrate all things Halloween. Looking for the creepy crawly? Get to Wicked Forest for all of the scares you can handle. Looking for something for the entire family? Then get to Walker Farm to pick out your pumpkin and enjoy lots of family fall fun.
Meet a Naturalist
Do you have loads of questions about the critters that call the Hocking Hills home? Make a stop at the Naturalist Cabin this weekend to talk to a naturalist and get to know a little more about the Hocking Hills wildlife.
Go Back in Time
Did you know the Hocking County Historical Society & Hocking County Genealogical Society have six buildings that you can explore for free? From trying your hand at Morse Code to sitting in a 1900s school desk, there many ways to enjoy the past here.
Go for a Hike
Have you ever been to Cedar Falls? Would you like to get to know more about the area? The Cedar Falls Stroll will introduce you to the natural and cultural history of the area while you take in the stunning views.
Raise a Beer
Food trucks, beers and live music?! Does it get any better than that? It does when you can bring your favorite gear to show off to people that will appreciate it. Make sure to stop at Beers, Gears & Cheers!
Make a Stop at the Farmers' Market
See the Work of Artists
Men at Work is coming to Bowen House. Enjoy the wonderful craftsmanship of these incredible artists. Or go to the Hocking Hills Artists & Craftsmen Annual Fall Show and take home something completely unique.
Hear Live Music
Enjoy the music of the Hocking Hills. Make a stop at Brewery 33, or Hocking Hills Winery hear great local music while also drinking local. Or check out our amazing, local young talent at Artista Last Saturday Concert.
See the Stars
There's nothing quite like a beautiful starry night. And that starry night looks even better at the John Glenn Astronomy Park. Bring your whole family to marvel at the beauty of the night sky.
