Weekend Things to Do in the Hocking Hills - June 15-16
It's another weekend full of fun things to do in the Hocking Hills!
Whether you want to get outside to explore or check all of the fun things you can do indoors here, there is a lot going on. Here's what you should plan on doing this weekend:
Go to a Music Festival
There are so many chances to see live music in our region! This weekend, you can make a stop at the Washboard Music Festival to see the streets of Logan come alive with music. Or you can experience the great outdoors with the Duck Creek Log Jam.
Do you love to be on the water? Enjoy the romance of a moonlight canoe trip. Or take the opportunity to explore Rose Lake in a kayak. Either way, you will have an unforgettable time exploring the Hocking Hills on the water.
See Outdoor Theater
There is nothing quite like seeing the epic story of Tecumseh live. Sit under the stars as the story unfolds in front of you, complete with horses and stunning live battle sequences. It makes for a night that you will never forget.
Go for a Stroll
You don't always have to go for a hike here. Sometimes you can just stroll. Take your stroll to Cedar Falls this weekend to discover the unique natural & cultural history of this area. And then fall in love with one of the area's most stunning waterfalls.
Raise a Beer
Food trucks, beers and live music?! Does it get any better than that? It does when you can bring your favorite gear to show off to people that will appreciate it. Make sure to stop at Beers, Gears & Cheers!
Go to a Cruise-In
Do you like classic cars? Then you will love the 8th Annual Cruise-In for Kids. Plus there is live music, a raffle, cornhole tournament and more!
Meet a Naturalist
Do you have questions about the wildlife that calls the Hocking Hills home? Stop at the Naturalist Cabin! You can get those questions answered while you take a look at some of those residents.
Make a Stop at the Farmers' Market
See the Work of Artists
Want to see some local art? The Can Do Creations Annual Art Show is here! This is a great opportunity to support local artists while also a local nonprofit.
You can also the work of quilters at The Dairy Barn Arts Center. These were deemed the 84 best contemporary quilts in the world, so it's something not to be missed.
Hear Live Music
Enjoy the music of the Hocking Hills. Make a stop at Brewery 33, Hocking Hills Winery or RockSide Winery & Vineyards to hear great local music while also drinking local. Or make a stop at the Moose to hear some classic rock and country.
See the Stars
There's nothing quite like a beautiful starry night. And that starry night looks even better at the John Glenn Astronomy Park. Bring your whole family to marvel at the beauty of the night sky.
