It's another weekend full of fun things to do in the Hocking Hills!
It is one of our favorite weekend of the year, because there is so much to do! Check why you'll have loads of fun in the Hocking Hills this weekend:
Go on the Annual Winter Hike
Make new friends as you explore the six mile hike from Old Man's Cave to Ash Cave. This annual tradition will show you the natural beauty of our area in the winter, and then you can warm up with another annual tradition: the Logan Kiwanis Club's bean soup.
Enjoy the Logan Frozen Festival
Did you know there was so much fun to be had in the snow? From ice sculptures to ice skating, you'll find a lot of things to do at the Logan Frozen Festival. And don't miss your chance to try some of our local spirits and food to warm you up as you explore.
Hocking Hills Comfort Food Cruise
Eat your way through the Hocking Hills with the Comfort Food Cruise. You'll be able to eat tasty dishes from some of the best restaurants in the Hocking Hills. And you can even make this a guilt-free cruise by making stops to hike and work off all of those calories!
Make a Stop at the Farmers' Market
Is your goal this year to eat food that is better for you? Then this is a great time to start eating local. Get started with a stop at the Athens Farmers' Market. And even better, you'll get the chance to shake the hand of the person that made your food.
See the Work of Local Artists
Did you know some very talented artists call the Hocking Hills home? You can see the work of just a few of them at Positive Light, a photographic exhibition of life’s brighter side, featuring John Halley, Wendy Minor Viny and Joel Prince. In this exhibit, these photographers share what they find uplifting about our area.
Hear Live Music
Chat with a Naturalist
Discover more about the animals that call the Hocking Hills their home. The Naturalist Cabin will be open for questions about the area and its inhabitants.
Support the Hocking Hills
Do you love BBQ and brews and the Hocking Hills? Then make a stop at the BBQ & Brew Fundraiser for the Friends of Hocking Hills State Park. You will also get a chance to check out the Cedar Grove Lodgings Event Center while enjoying this luncheon.
