Weekend Things to Do in the Hocking Hills - Feb 23-24
It's another weekend full of fun things to do in the Hocking Hills!
Whether you want to get outside to explore or check all of the fun things you can do indoors here, there is a lot going on. Here's what you should plan on doing this weekend:
Get Out for a Hike
You have two opportunities to get a hike in while learning about our local area. The Cedar Falls Stroll will take you on a natural and cultural history tour of Cedar Falls. Or discover the Wonders of Old Man's Cave with a short hike that includes facts about the history and rock formations that make up the area.
Find a New Job
Have you ever wanted to help make the Hocking Hills a wonderful destination for visitors? The Tourism & Hospitality Job Fair is this weekend, and it's a perfect time to find a new career welcoming visitors from around the world to our beautiful area.
Make a Stop at the Farmers' Market
Is your goal this year to eat food that is better for you? Then this is a great time to start eating local. Get started with a stop at the Athens Farmers' Market. And even better, you'll get the chance to shake the hand of the person that made your food.
See the Work of Local Artists
Did you know some very talented artists call the Hocking Hills home? You can see the work of just a few of them at Positive Light, a photographic exhibition of life’s brighter side, featuring John Halley, Wendy Minor Viny and Joel Prince. In this exhibit, these photographers share what they find uplifting about our area.
Hear Live Music
Or fall in love with the music of The War and Treaty at Stuart's Opera House.
See a Play
Deathtrap is coming to the Lancaster Playhouse! This comedy-thriller is a great opportunity to lose yourself in a story and makes a perfect Valentine's Day weekend date.
