Weekend Things to Do in the Hocking Hills - Apr 20-21

It's another weekend full of fun things to do in the Hocking Hills!

Whether you want to get outside to explore or check all of the fun things you can do indoors here, there is a lot going on. Here's what you should plan on doing this weekend:

Celebrate Earth Day

What better way to celebrate Earth Day than with the Honeybees and a hike? Get to the Dairy Barn for the Swing Swarm with the Wild Honeybees. With food trucks, dancing and cocktails, you're guaranteed to have lots of fun.

Make a Stop at the Naturalist Cabin

There is so much fun to be had at the Naturalist Cabin! This weekend, you can learn all about bats or some of the other critters that call Hocking Hills home.

Go for a Hike

It's a great weekend for a hike! The Trillium Festival at Mathias Grove will show you how spring is bringing our area to life. Scalawags & Renegades will tell you all about the history of Rock House. Or you can meet at Ash Cave to learn the difference between Ridgetops & Hollers

Make a Stop at the Farmers' Market

Get started eating local with a stop at the Athens Farmers' Market. And even better, you'll get the chance to shake the hand of the person that made your food.

See the Work of Local Artists

Want to see some local art? The Can Do Creations Annual Art Show is here! This is a great opportunity to support local artists while also a local nonprofit.

Hear Live Music

Let the music of the Hocking Hills warm you up this winter. Make a stop at Brewery 33,  Hocking Hills Winery or RockSide Winery & Vineyards to hear great local music while also drinking local.

See the Stars

There's nothing quite like a beautiful starry night. And that starry night looks even better at the John Glenn Astronomy Park. Bring your whole family to marvel at the beauty of the night sky.
