Lancaster Golf Club

The Lancaster Golf Club is a premier public, 18-hole golf course located just 20 miles north of Logan, Ohio, on the southwest edge of Lancaster. The course offers an 'irons only' driving range and is a partner of the national Youth on Course program. Food and drink are available on and off the course courtesy of Alfonso's Italian Grille and Event Center. Alfonso Contrisciani is a master chef, one of only 69 in the country. Founded in 1909 as a 9-hole course, it was redesigned in 1926 by renowned Scottish golf course architect Donald Ross. The second 9 holes were fashioned by famed golf course architect Jack Kidwell in 1956. The Lancaster Golf Club is one of the oldest golf courses in Ohio. It sprawls across rolling terrain that provides interesting elevation changes and shot selections. Six sets of tees range from 4,650 yards to the championship tees at 6,720 yards. Whether you're new to the game or a seasoned enthusiast, the course is a great way to enjoy the beauty of the area.
