The Acres

The Acres is a luxury short term rental cabin in the heart of Hocking Hills, Ohio. The cabin sleeps 14 guests comfortably within five bedrooms and eight beds. Three full bathrooms offer spa-like amenities including a steam shower and a soaking tub. An outdoor shower crafted of patinated corten steel and an infinity-style hot tub outfit the expansive three-sided deck, showcasing views of the forest from three directions. 

Neutral tones throughout the interior create a warm, harmonious space. An indoor gas fireplace, an outdoor wood burning fireplace on the covered porch, and a firepit with seating all ensure cozy evenings when the seasons turn cool. Other elevated touches include a custom hearth and mantle, a dedicated movie room, wet bar, and a chef’s kitchen. The custom-built bunk room creates a playful space fit for adults or children to doze into slumber.

Conceived as a space to respite from hyper connected life, The Acres creates an immersive  forest bathing experience by bringing the outdoors in via oversized window views of the surrounding forest. Set a quarter mile into the woods on 78 private acres, it is the ultimate place for guests to connect with nature and each other.

The 78-acre setting provides a private park-like experience for those who want to wander in place. It offers unspoiled natural beauty including ravines, hollows, and seasonal creeks. Logging trails converted into hiking trails invite exploration. The property is ideally situated roughly 10 minutes from both Logan, OH and the wildly popular Hocking Hills State Parks.
