Stream Study at Boch Hollow

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Natural Areas and Preserves, invites all ages to a stream study workshop at Boch Hollow State Nature Preserve. We will do a small workshop in the office to familiarize everyone with the equipment and sampling procedures. Then, we will proceed out into the stream to test the water and discover what lives below the surface.

Participants should dress for the weather and wear shoes that are appropriate for hiking. This will take place in and around the stream, so come prepared to get wet. Please bring snacks and water, if needed. Please register by Wednesday, April 19th by emailing Ciara.Jones@dnr.ohio.gov
