Wildflower Hike Information:
We will meet at the Crane Hollow office at 16820 SR 678, split into groups and observe the spring flora of Crane Hollow Preserve. One hike will occur right behind our office. A good section of this hike will be on trail, but it will contain off-trail sections and stream crossings. Other routes will contain more off-trail hiking, and again will have stream crossings. For all routes, steep climbs will occur and hiking poles can be useful. Unlike many of the hikes and volunteer opportunities, we will not plan to have a dedicated lunch break during this hike. You are more than welcome to bring liquid and a snack however.
 
Open House Information:
Join us for an afternoon of friendship, music, and food to celebrate the legacy of Crane Hollow Preserve!  You are invited to simply enjoy the view of the hollow from the deck or join in on one of several short hikes which will be led periodically throughout the afternoon.
 
Live music will return to the back deck this year with The Jane Ann Band!
 
We will have a 10’x 20’ tent over the deck and porch furniture with cushions, but please feel free to bring your own folding lawn chairs.  There will also be an art area complete with all kinds of supplies available for kids of all ages.
 
Place settings will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share and your drink of choice.  Alcohol is permitted at Crane Hollow. We will have some refrigerator space available; however you may also bring your own coolers.

Several parking spaces will be reserved at the parking area nearest to the office entrance for those that need close access either for the duration of your visit or just while you unload.  Parking is available at the office, along the office driveway in our two new gravel parking lots, or in the pull off at the entrance to Crane Hollow along State Route 374.
