John Glenn Astronomy Park

Night observing program at 8:45 p.m. Friday and Saturday, experience views through the telescopes.  If the weather is clear, we will be opening the roof and looking at Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and the Moon (if it is out) If the moon is not in the sky, views of celestial wonders beyond the solar system- star clusters, nebulae, galaxies- will be featured. This Saturday we will be having daytime programs focusing on the sun starting at 5:00 p.m.Come out, enjoy the views and enjoy our unique plaza. Please arrive before 8:30 p.m. for night time viewing as we close the gate at that time.
