Hocking Hills Holiday Treasure Hunt 

Event Dates: November 1- December 12, 2025 

Kick off the season with a bit of holiday shopping adventure.

The Hocking Hills Holiday Treasure Hunt, hosted by Explore Hocking Hills, invites you to explore locally owned shops across the region while collecting stamps on a special treasure map. Visit any six participating shops, get your map stamped, and turn it in for a chance to win prizes—including a grand prize weekend getaway for four in the Hocking Hills (two nights in a cabin, canopy tours, canoe trips, golf, candle making, and meals).

• Dates: November 1 – December 12, 2025

• How it works:

  • Please pick up a Holiday Treasure Map at the Hocking Hills Regional Welcome Center or download it here. 

  • Shop at participating businesses (from antique malls and boutiques to coffee shops and studios).

  • Collect six stamps, then turn in your completed map at the Welcome Center by 5 p.m. on Dec. 12. 

This event is perfect for those who want to shop small, support local makers, and explore the region.

Christmas on the Farm at Fox’s High Rock Farm

Event Dates: November 29 & December 13, 2025

For a cozy, country-Christmas vibe, head to Fox’s High Rock Farm for Christmas on the Farm, a ticketed evening event that turns the farm into a festive winter wonderland.

Hocking Hills Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade 

Event Date: December 5th at 12 pm

Location: Starts at the Hocking County Fairgrounds (100 N Homer Ave, Logan, OH 43138) and ends at W Hunter Street / State Route 664

Why Attend: Kick off the holiday season with a festive community parade: floats, holiday music, Santa appearances, and local spirit. Bring the family, find a curb-side spot early (line-up starts at 9 a.m.), and soak in the holiday cheer. 

Tip: Dress in layers (December in the Hocking Hills can bring brisk air!) and arrive early for the best viewing spots along the route.

Jack Pine Studio Holiday Open House 2025

Event Dates: December 5–7, 2025 

Location: Jack Pine Studio (21397 OH-180, Laurelville, OH 43135) 

What to Expect: A warm, artsy holiday experience:

• Live glass-blowing demonstrations during the open house.

• Festive snacks and a cozy gallery atmosphere. 

• Santa appearance (Saturday & Sunday). 

• Toy-drive benefit: Bring a new, unwrapped children’s toy (around $30) and receive a free Jack Pine glass ornament. All toys go to the Sparrow House in Laurelville.

Breakfast with Santa – Hocking Hills Children’s Museum 

Event Date: December 20th, 2025

If you’re traveling with little ones, the Hocking Hills Children’s Museum offers a sweet, low-stress way to meet Santa: Breakfast with Santa.

Highlights include:

• A light breakfast

• Hands-on Christmas activities for kids

• A visit with Santa in a playful, kid-focused setting

• Early-morning, before-hours event (8:30 – 10:00 a.m.), with passes valid for museum play all day

Christmas in Ash Cave: A Candlelit Holiday Hike

Event Date: December 13th, 2025, from 5-7 pm

Few holiday experiences are as unique as Christmas in Ash Cave. This beloved event combines the region’s dramatic natural beauty with classic Christmas traditions.

At Christmas in Ash Cave, visitors:

• Take a lighted or candlelit stroll along the paved trail back to Ash Cave—Ohio’s largest recessed cave 

• Warm up by an open fire

• Enjoy holiday music

• Watch kids visit with a traditional, old-fashioned Santa

• Help decorate a Christmas tree for wildlife with natural ornaments 

Because the trail is paved and generally accessible, it’s an excellent option for multigenerational families. We encourage you to dress warmly, wear good shoes, and bring a flashlight just in case.
